This Privacy Notice explains how Closii collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects information when you use the app. Closii is a nail preview tool that allows users to upload a hand photo, choose nail styles and colors, and receive an AI-generated preview image. We follow a data minimization approach and only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide the app’s features. We do not provide a social platform, public community, or advertising service, and we do not use your information for unrelated purposes.
Closii is not designed for facial recognition or identity verification. We do NOT perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, or create face templates. The app is intended for hand and nail preview generation only. If a face appears incidentally in an uploaded image, it is not analyzed for identity, biometric traits, or recognition purposes. We do not collect, derive, store, or sell biometric identifiers or biometric information. Uploaded images used for preview generation are processed only for the requested result and are deleted after processing is completed.
We use information only for limited, functional purposes related to operating Closii, including:
We do NOT use your information for AI training, advertising, behavioral profiling, data brokerage, or selling personal data. We do NOT use uploaded photos or generated images to build user profiles.
Closii uses AI to generate nail preview images from your uploaded hand photo and selected design options. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. Uploaded photos and related processing inputs are used only to produce the requested preview and are deleted after processing is completed. Temporary processing data is removed once the generation task finishes. We do NOT use your uploaded content, generated results, or any associated data for model training, model tuning, or model optimization.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect app changes, operational needs, legal requirements, or improved privacy practices. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this document. If appropriate, we may also provide notice within the app before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Closii after an updated notice becomes effective means the updated notice will apply to your use of the app.
Depending on where you use the app, data may be processed in different regions where our systems or service infrastructure operate. If information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place and that data is handled in a manner consistent with this Privacy Notice. Regardless of processing location, we apply the same core privacy commitments described here, including limited use, security protections, and restricted access.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic infrastructure operations. Any such provider acts solely on our behalf and under our instructions, is bound by contractual obligations to ensure data security, and is NOT permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
These infrastructure providers do NOT use data for advertising or user profiling. They do NOT use data for AI training or model optimization. They do NOT use data for their own purposes or redistribute it. They do NOT independently access or use user content except as technically necessary to provide the infrastructure services we request.
We may also disclose information if required by law, lawful process, or a valid governmental request, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of our services.

Closii is intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that information from a child under 17 has been provided to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable. If you believe a child under 17 has used the app and provided personal information, please contact us.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, encrypted communications, limited personnel access, logging, and infrastructure security protections. However, no system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you should also protect your device, account environment, and saved images appropriately.

Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a hand photo. Photo library access is requested only when you choose to import a photo or save a generated preview.
By downloading, accessing, or using Closii, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the collection, use, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, please do not use the app. You may stop using the app at any time and may remove local content by deleting app data or uninstalling the app.
