These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Closii. By downloading, accessing, browsing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any additional policies or disclosures made available within the app. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
You also represent that you have the legal authority to accept these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of any person or entity you represent. Your use of any feature of the app constitutes acceptance of the version of the Terms then in effect.
Closii provides automated nail preview results generated with image processing and AI-based tools. All previews, style matches, color simulations, and generated images are provided for general informational and visual reference purposes only. They are estimates and artistic approximations, not guaranteed representations of how a manicure will appear in real life.
Lighting, skin tone, nail shape, salon technique, product materials, display settings, and other variables may cause actual results to differ from generated previews. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on generated results, and you use the service at your own risk.
Closii is not a medical, dermatological, diagnostic, or treatment service. The app does not assess nail health, diagnose nail conditions, or provide professional beauty, cosmetic, or medical advice.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Closii at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, engaged in misuse of the service, or if we are required to do so for legal, security, operational, or business reasons.
You may stop using the app at any time. Termination or discontinuation of access does not affect any rights or obligations that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law provisions.
Closii is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and quiet enjoyment.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, timely, or free of harmful components, or that generated previews will meet your expectations or requirements.
Closii is a lightweight nail preview application designed to help users explore manicure styles before making beauty decisions. The app allows users to upload a photo of a hand, choose from preset nail styles and color schemes, and receive a generated preview image intended to visually align with the shape of the user’s fingers and nails.
The service is intended to provide a convenient try-on experience for users who want to compare manicure looks without immediately applying products. It may be used by individuals seeking style inspiration, budget-conscious users considering new designs, professionals searching for understated options, and nail enthusiasts collecting visual ideas.
Core features may include photo upload from camera or photo library, basic cropping and hand-area recognition, selection of preset manicure categories such as pure colors, gradients, French tip, accent nail, and simple patterns, and selection of color palettes such as classic reds, nude tones, dark shades, bright colors, and seasonal combinations.
When a user confirms a selection, the app generates one preview image per generation request. Processing times may vary, but generation is generally designed to be quick. The app may also offer local saving of results to the device photo library, local storage of recent preview history, regeneration using the same parameters, deletion of stored history records, and favorites for preferred style combinations.
New users may receive a limited number of free generations. After free use is exhausted, additional generations may require virtual currency in the form of coins. Each generation may consume a variable number of coins disclosed in the app at the time of use.
The app may include pages or areas such as a home screen with upload access and recent previews, a style selection screen, a results screen, and a history screen. Closii does not promise that all features will always be available, and some functionality may be added, removed, limited, or changed over time.
To provide the service, the app may request access to your camera to capture hand photos, your photo library to import images, and permission to save generated previews back to your device. Uploaded hand photos may be sent to cloud-based processing systems for generation and then deleted after processing, while generated previews, selection records, and certain usage data may be stored locally on your device unless you delete them. Coin balances and related purchase records may also rely on Apple in-app purchase systems and related encrypted receipts.
Closii is not a social network, marketplace, salon booking platform, or e-commerce recommendation engine. It is a visual preview tool only. Generated previews are for reference and may not perfectly match real manicure appearance, durability, fit, or final salon results.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted in the app or otherwise made available to you, unless a different effective date is stated. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.
Your continued use of Closii after any update takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the service.
Closii may offer consumable virtual currency, including coins, through Apple in-app purchases. Coins may be used within the app to obtain generation requests or related consumable functionality as described at the point of purchase or use.
Coins are licensed, not sold, and have no cash value, no property interest, and no value outside the app. They are non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and may not be resold, exchanged, or traded. Except where required by applicable law or by the platform provider’s rules, purchases are final and non-refundable.
Coin usage may vary by generation request, and the app may display the amount required before confirmation. We reserve the right to change pricing, coin consumption rates, promotional offers, free-use policies, and virtual item structures at any time, subject to applicable law and platform rules.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Closii and its affiliates, operators, licensors, contractors, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, actions, damages, judgments, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the app; (b) your uploaded content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (e) any misuse of generated outputs by you or anyone using your device or account.
Closii is intended only for users who are at least 17 years old and who have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
If you do not meet the required age or legal capacity standard, you must not use the service. If we learn that a user does not satisfy these eligibility requirements, we may suspend or terminate access.
You retain ownership of the photos and other content you submit to Closii. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded hand images, saved records, or other user-provided material.
However, by uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and royalty-free license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and use that content solely as necessary to operate the app, generate previews, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations. This license is limited to service-related purposes and does not transfer ownership to us.
Where uploaded hand photos are transmitted for cloud processing, they may be temporarily used for generation and then deleted after processing according to the app’s operational design, subject to technical and legal constraints.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload, the permissions you grant on your device, and the way you use generated previews. You must ensure that you have all necessary rights, consents, and authority to upload any photo or content submitted through the app.
You are responsible for verifying that your images do not violate any law, contract, privacy right, publicity right, intellectual property right, or other third-party interest. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for any activity conducted through it in connection with the app.
You may not use Closii in any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized manner. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: uploading content you do not have rights to use; uploading harmful, offensive, infringing, deceptive, or illegal material; attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code from the app except where prohibited by law; bypassing security or access controls; interfering with servers or networks; using bots, scripts, automation, or scraping tools; exploiting bugs or loopholes; using the app to develop competing services; misrepresenting your identity; or using the app in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service.
You also may not use the app for medical claims, diagnostic claims, deceptive advertising, harassment, or any activity that suggests the generated output is guaranteed, certified, or professionally endorsed when it is not.
Closii, including its software, interface, design, branding, text, graphics, features, selection and arrangement of content, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license or right is transferred to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the app except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
Closii is provided on an availability basis only. We do not guarantee that the app, any feature, or any generation function will be available at all times or in all locations, or that access will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
We may modify, update, limit, suspend, discontinue, or remove any aspect of the service at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. This includes features, supported formats, preview styles, free-use allowances, storage limits, and processing methods.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use Closii solely for your own personal, non-commercial use on compatible devices.
This license does not permit commercial exploitation, redistribution, resale, public offering, service bureau use, or any use not expressly authorized under these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Closii and its affiliates, operators, licensors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the app.
This limitation applies whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to use Closii in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to Closii or your use of the service will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent superseded by mandatory consumer protection laws or other non-waivable legal rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
